Question about steals

This might have been already answered but does anyone know if 2k fixed their steal system in regards to who is awarded with the steal? It's always been the player who picks it up instead of the player who causes the deflection. It's not the end of the world but I always found it frustrating when it wasn't ruled correctly. Thanks

Also what about when a defender blocks a shot and gets the rebound but it doesn't count as a rebound?

Another good point. I think sometimes we get caught up in arm sleeves and headbands but not as much about the stats. I mean isn't that what sports is supposed to be about? It's funny that I never remember to ask this question when I'm on here but when I'm playing the game and see the stats aren't given to the right player, it irks me. I hope this is addressed but I think we might have another year with this. It doesn't ruin my experience or take away from the game but I just wish we as a community harped on this more than the superficial stuff.

Another thing is I don't think fast-break points are calculated correctly in 2K10. It seems like a fast-break point in 2K10 is when you make a wide open field goal.

I need confirmation from people on here if this is true or not.

I also wish the box scores would also show the seconds in minutes played.

I believe FB points are counted within the first 5 or 6 seconds of the shot clock regardless if the shot was open or contested.

Yeah but what I'm saying is if you make a contested shot in 2K10 within 5-6 seconds its not recorded as a fast-break point.

Open make within 5-6 seconds in 2K10 is recorded of course.

Hmm.. I didn't notice that. Maybe I was too lazy to know about it.

Well I started to wonder after looking at the team stats after a 48 min game. 2K would show a total of 6-8 fastbreak points when I know that I had at least 12-14.

Again, I need confirmation from others if this is true or not.
