Where's this year's glaring gameplay issue?

I bought madden on the first day, but i havent really played because of time constraints. Still i peruse this board regularly and i have yet to see anyone throw out the "OMG GAMEBREAKING ISSUE !!!11!!1!!!!! thread"

although i know the game cant be perfect, im wondering is this years game so polished that there is no consensus glaring gameplay issue, or am i in for a sad surprise when i finally start playing?

I mean if a patch came out tomorrow, what would HAVE to be fixed by it? And if theres nothing serious to fix, shouldnt we be giving ea a few props?

I'd say defense in general is the main issue. The new locomotion puts defenders in a huge disadvantage as they can't react quickly enough. Tackling is awful, but can be mitigated with sliders.

My personal pet peeve is how pulling linemen play, but rbs who don't block on passing downs are close behind.

Lack of defense is more of a issue with online play, because offline with a few slider tweaks the game plays solid both offensively and defensively.

I'm in love with this game. But I agree that defense needs a patch. As a Buccaneers team owner, I shouldn't be beating the CPU in all my games on an All-Pro difficulty setting.

I love Madden this year. The only problems which ain't real big. But the D is lacking some and breaking the Tackle to much is a little over done. But Ian and his Crew is looking into this and trying to work on the solution for the second patch. But other then that the game is good this year. No complaints.
