Has anyone made many gameplans (over 10) and sucessfully been able to play madden 11? Once I had eight gameplans saved, I was not able to play a single game. I got the eternal loading screen before the game. I was planning on creating offensive and defesnive gameplans for each team, to eliminate the stupid play-calls the CPU makes.

Once I deleted six of my eight gameplans, the game played completely fined. Added two more and it played fine. I didn't want to add anymore because I didn't feel like quitting the game and restarting it on my ps3. The XMB menu still worked, and other games run fine so it's not the ps3.

I have seen this issue on several threads around the web, but not many. Also, the more gameplans you have the longer it takes them to load on the game setup screen.

Do you think this was a one-time thing? Has anybody else had the same problem? Has anybody not encountered this problem?

My game freezes on about 1/3 of the times I play it. I don't use game plans. It just freezes anyway.

I've been using the gameplans graciously offered up by many members of this site and I have the same issue. Have maybe 20-25 or so? TAKES FOREVER to start the damn game. I back out, go back in, back out. Annoying as hell. Didn't even think it could be due to the amount of gameplans....

It takes forever to make the gameplans on the ps3, and now I had to delete them because the game wouldn't load. If you keep having trouble try deleting the game plans and see what happens. This needs to be patched immediately. A main feature of the game cause the game to slow down!

I had a thread earlier on this ...seems to be a bug ..i had 1 gameplan and was freezing..deleted it and havent froze since first week of release...

For those trying to make a bunch of gameplans, I've suggested storing them on a flash drive, and only keeping a few loaded on the console at a time. Then you can have gameplans for multiple teams and load up the ones you need and delete the ones you don't.

Thanks for helping guys. At least EA knows this is an issue, and hopefully it will be addressed in a patch in the coming weeks.
