DaCoach15's Heisman Sliders

Hello NCAA fans,
I have been doing a lot of testing with different Heisman slider suggestions and I have found that these work the best so far. Although I had been playing with these sliders for a while, these are very similar to Footballforever's sliders. Let me warn you that these sliders are for gamers that want a challenge while keeping a sense of realism. If you want sliders that allow New Mexico State to beat USC 35-3, these aren't the sliders for you.

Ok, before I go into the house rules slider, let me first make you aware of another slider that has helped with nullifying an exploit. I have noticed that the cpu defense loves to corner blitz. This is one of the easiest plays to exploit. I have found that by going into the coaching philosophy and adjusting the cpu's defensive aggressiveness, you can get the cpu defense to play more honest. Be aware that this is only for dynasty play. Here are my sliders for the cpu coaching strategy.

For teams with a def. aggressiveness that is 70 or Higher, set to 55.

For teams with a def. aggressiveness that is between 50 and 65, set to 50.

My house rules sliders:

Gameplay Options
Time Saver: Enabled
Skill: Heisman
Recruiting Difficulty: All American
Injuries: On
Fatigue: On
Quarter Length: 8 min
Play clock: On
Game Speed: Normal
Speed Threshold: 25 (only players with elite speed are fast)
Home Field Advantage: On
Ice the Kicker: on

Game Rules
Offsides: 55
False Starts: 55
Holding: 50
Facemask: 50
Offensive P.I.: 55
Defensive P.I.: 55
KR/PR Interference: 55
Clipping: 55
Intention Grounding: 55
Roughing the Passer: 55
Roughing the Kicker: 55

Custom AI
Hum/CPU
QB Accuracy:---- 40/40 (this cut down on the cpu's robo qb affect)
Pass Blocking:---- 65/35 (This helps with effectively running play action)
WR Catching:---- 45/45 (Sorry, but College WR don't catch every pass)
RB Ability:------- 45/50 (This seperates the good RB's from the bad)
Run Blocking-----50/50 (Any lower and cpu run defense is unstoppable)
Pass coverage---45/40 (No more psychic cbs)
Pass Rush-------50/40 (Realistic sack totals)
Int's-------------50/50 (1-2 int's a game)
Rush Defense----50/50 (Any lower and the cpu turns into Barry Sanders)
Tackling---------45/50 (This opens up the cpu run game)
Fg Power--------50/45 ( cuts down on the cpu making 50yd+ fg's)
Fg Accuracy-----40/55 ( No more missed PAT's)
Punt Power------50/50
Punt Accuracy---40/50
Kickoff Power----50/50

I would like to note that I play with USC, so my sliders are meant to give me a challenge in my Dynasty. If you play with a smaller school, these sliders may seem difficult to play with. I hope these sliders give you what your looking for. Feel free to leave any opinions or suggestions regarding my sliders.

Re: DaCoach15's Heismans Sliders

These are by far the best sliders I've used and I've used almost everybody's that is posted on OS. I've been looking for a challenge since I got the game and you are right, you won't beat USC with NMSU.

I have played 3 years of a dynasty with UGA and every game was realistic. I couldn't under estimate anybody, every play seemed to matter, and if i don't play smart and execute I lost. Period. I loved it. that's the real essence of college football.

The first year of my dynasty I started 11-0 but it wasn't easy. Tough bouts with SCAR (just like a real life UGA-SCAR game), ARK, MISS ST (surprising), FLORIDA (of course), and AUB. Then I ran into a determined GT squad that got too many big plays threw the air. I contained their run but I didn't respect their passing game enough. That would be signs to come as I lost the SEC championship to BAMA badly and the capital one bowl to iowa.

Season 2 was a great one. had many tough battles and close calls away with SCAR, FLA, ND, VAN, and AUB. I was 13-0 going into the BCS championship dispite Aaron Murray being hurt most of the season and Logan Gray leading my team. Unfortunately the stage was too big for my guys as we lost to USC in a defensive struggle.

Season 3 i lost the opener to ND but ran off 12 straight hard earned victories but lost an absolute heart breaker to stanford in the BCS championship. 0-2 in championship games. Amazing.

Unbelieveable sliders man. They have stood the test of 3 years of a dynasty.

I am going to test these with a smaller school. Will post results later.
