the mini games from NHL 2K5

you guys remember the mini games from 2k5? they were fun:

I really liked the mini-games in 2k5. At least they tried to do something completely out of the box and fun, but still with ice skates, a hockey stick, and a puck.

funny thing is, while playing nhl 2k11's mini games last night i thought, wait a second, this seems familar. yup, must have got the ideas from 2k5 lol.

The 2K4/2K5 era was a great time for 2K sports fans. Pre-exclusivity, great price points and as was mentioned they were thinking outside the box. VIP, first person football, mini games, The Crib, Air Hockey, custom sound tracks....and I am sure I am missing alot of things. These may not have all been big successes, but you have to admire them for trying. Fun stuff.

I absolutely loved 2K4-2K5 sports games. As the guy above me pointed out, VIP, Crib, Mini-games, first-person, such great innovation. Sucks that it went away. Good to see it back though.
