Missing players

Why are there so many missing players in Madden 11? For example Antonio Garay (predicted by sportingnews to be the starting NT for San Diego), Stafon Johnson, Ogemdi Nwagbuo. etc.

Laziness, fact is most gamers don't care so EA doesn't care. It's the same reason why so many players don't have pictures. They say they "can't" put pictures in the game after it's been released, what a joke. Honestly, how have you failed to put a first round pick's in 2007 picture in the game(Jarvis Moss). I'm not even a Bronco fan and that pisses me off.

I can't imagine getting the players pictures can be that hard, why they don't just take as many player pictures as they think may be neccessar and end up with too many baffles me.

NFL just started pre-season... final rosters are still weeks away and current "depth" charts mean absolutely nothing.. all the missing players people think should be in game will be if they are indeed on the roster for game 1 of the regular season, however quickly EA gets the first real roster update out in September.

Ogemdi Nwagbou is in the game for SD. Chargers are Also missing DT Antonio Garay (as you stated) DT Vaughn Martin and S CJ Spillman. Whats funny though is Vaughn Martin is in the game SOMEWHERE but not on the Chargers or Free Agents. I know he is in the game because i have his card in Ultimate Team and have used him.

Sam Shields. CB for the Packers is missing. I know he is an undrafted free agent, but he has a good chance at making the team as a special teamer with his 4.2 speed.

No way! This would put him fastest player in the NFL now over Chris Johnson of the Titans. I've never heard of a player with 4.2 flat speed. Do you mean 4.2 with another digit on the end? Chris Johnson ran a 4.24 I believe at the combine a couple years ago. I would find it hard to beat that time.

Sam Shields was not invited to the combine and ran a recorded 4.30 and 4.33 40 time at University of Miami's pro day. Far off from 4.2 speed, but as a Hurricanes fan he is pretty fast, deserving of a 95 or so.
