Again it's impossible to get sacks that aren't coverage sacks.

I find it nearly impossible to sack the QB again unless I'm controlling the safety and coverage is absolutely locked to the point that he's going to throw a pick.

There's far to many times where he tosses the ball just as my defender hits him which would be intentional grounding in the NFL and result in a sack.

I'm in week 11 of my chise and no one has more than 5 sacks on my team most of which are coverage sacks.

I'm not saying getting them is impossible, I'm not asking for a magical play to get sacks, I'm saying the QB throws the ball away as soon as the defender is near him especially if the defender is user controlled.

This has been a problem in the last 2 maddens and I can't believe it was once again not addressed.

Also it seems like they made diving for a tackle useless because every time I try to dive at the QB it's like my player is sliding into home in baseball, why is my damn player diving to his knees EA?!

I can say that I'm not having much trouble getting sacks. Granted, I have the benefit of having DeMarcus Ware & Anthony Spencer on the outside, with Jay Ratliff to clog the middle .

When EA's site is back up, I have two videos to upload. One: I started out offsides and immediately hit Brady, who still got rid of it in time. Two: Brett Favre broke a sack (after a play action) then, facing backwards, magically threw the ball forwards after feeling the rush.

rgiles your game must be different than mine than because it doesn't matter who it is rushing. I've played with the cowboys and experienced the same thing I posted. I mainly use Denver and if there was a stat for QB Hurrys Dumervile would have about 100... yet he has only 5 sacks.

Madden is the same as NCAA, you need to go to practice mode and learn how to do the defensive line moves to get sacks. I get sacks just fine using various teams.

9 games 14 sacks with Justin Tuck and 5 with Osi.. So ya its not impossible...

Im in my 2nd game (offline franchise, All-Pro, no slider adjustments) with the aweful Bills and have 3 sacks on Henne (actually knocked him out of the game on the 3rd sack) in the 1st game and 2 on Rodgers in my 2nd game...I did resign Schobel and am starting him at LE (be jumps up to 88OVR at that position), the rest of the D remains the same.

another issue that others have brought up is the inability to successfully run the play action. Play action has worked wonders for me.....seems these issues (robot QB and sack-inducing play action) happen for some and not others...I am still tinkering with sliders, but hopefully some slider adjustments can help others that have faced these issues.

This isn't directed at the OP but just a general statement. Sometimes people can't do things simply because of their skill level. I can't rush the ball for 300 yards in a game but I've read others can. Should I complain? I know the point that would be brought up would be "yea but you can rush the ball some right?" and yes that's true. However I've seen people that say they can't rush the ball at all and complain rushing is broke.

Something is not necessarily "broken" in the game just because you have difficulty or simply cannot do it.
