Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

All-Pro (Custom) 10 Minute, 15 second acceleration. Gameplans and Gameflow are on. Normal gamespeed. ****EDIT - After reading a thread by a respected poster, my tests with this slider set will now still be at normal gamespeed, but I am going to be trying the Speed Threshold at 100. Apparently this number has been tested and this setting puts the players at their "stopwatch times" which I feel in conjunction with the sliders could produce the most sim feeling game to date.****

HUMAN:

QB Accuracy: 40
Pass Blocking: 75
WR Catching: 50

Rushing: 35
Run Blocking: 50
Fumbles: 50

Reaction Time: 55
Interceptions: 25
Pass Rushing: 40

Reaction Time: 70
Block Shedding: 35
Tackling: 40

CPU:

QB Accuracy: 48
Pass Blocking: 75
WR Catching: 50

Broken Tackles: 35
Run Blocking: 75
Fumbles: 50

Reaction Time: 100
Interceptions: 75
Pass Rushing: 55

Reaction Time: 100
Block Shedding: 100
Tackling: 100

Penalties: Offside-100, False Start-99, Holding & Facemask-55, All Interference-100, Clipping-51, All Remaining-100.

RB Sub-In/Out 83/88

I suppose they could be used for 11 minutes if you were a very large pre-snap adjuster. I am not. I also do not use "Fight for the Fumble", I'd rather have it be determined, and I have not altered a single Special Teams slider nor really seen a reason to at this point. I consider these final, as I recieved no one interested in testing with me, and this is the best I could come up with, and actually feel confident starting a dynasty with as a base set. I'm sure I may tweak a bit, but I *am* starting my Lions dynasty with them. Hopefully they can help you if you are struggling to find some competition from the CPU!

*EDIT - WHOLESALE CHANGES after making some crazy discoveries!*

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

After finally arriving here as the base I'm working from last night, I experienced a couple freezes. I'm a late night worker, and it was past my bedtime at 8AM while I was installing the game to my Hard Drive, so I do not have any posted stats as of yet. I will be playing probably 4 games (3 at least) in the next 5 hours. I will be posting all stats, and any tweak ideas at that time.

Here's hoping the CPU defense will start holding up with these amazingly high Reaction Time's and Tackling numbers. I felt the offense for the CPU was great in the bit I was playing before the freezing issues.

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

Initial post edited with Speed Threshold change, due to hearing 100 produces the correct "stopwatch times" for all players. Thanks.

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

Just read about some amazing stuff, and saw some amazing stuff in practice mode... So I'll be spending the next 30-45 minutes or so in practice mode. If you play a game with the above sliders, please post your findings if you would - but I'm definitely going to tweak some things to factor in what I believe I've just learned.

Thanks all for your patience!

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

Just updated the initial post with what I am going to run with after reading about the Speed Threshold, and further a treatise on how the blocking sliders are actually running this year. Did a lot of practice mode looks at blocking on different plays and what not, and feel this may be competitive to start. Competitive enough that I am going to attempt to start franchise Game 1 here. Report to come!

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

Initial impressions:

First off, take into consideration that I am playing with Buffalo, which means I am offensively handicapped from the beginning.

When I first popped in the game and put the settings to All-Pro, I was getting stuck in 38-35 shootouts with 5-6 HUGE plays a game.

This slider set through two preseason games has given me more balanced performances on both sides of the ball. It's a little tough to run against the CPU, but that may be due to the fact that Buffalo's line absolutely sucks.

I'm 1-1 in the preseason. I have put together a few really good drives, and I haven't been able to break huge 90 yard runs off. It's playing a whole lot closer to Madden 2010 now. The CPU offense is actually going down after 1 good hit, but breaking bad tackles or hit stick attempts. Good work. I will report more after a few regular season games.

Re: Pokerplaya's Project Version 1 *final*

Played the first regular season game. Bills 37- Dolphins 3.

It might be a little too weighted for defense against the CPU.
I was able to totally shut down everything the Dolphins wanted to do....2 INTs, 3 sacks, a million swatted balls.

On offense, I was just running compressed sets all game long, and picking Miami apart with 3 man reads. And no, I'm not a Madden expert.

These are much better sliders than the original game, but I am worried that we're all going to be playing "in between" for a while. It's either going to be too damn easy or ridiculously hard on defense. Let's hope for a patch.

I think you're wrong there bud, it seems that the majority of people who've been using my sliders find it somewhat challenging. You should check them out.
