NFL Greats...Where are they? HELP!!

Did this year's madden do away with the NFL Greats that were on the roster every year for the previous 3 yrs or so? Will Barry Sanders, Joe Montana etc etc... be available to play with like in year's past?

Please help as i would hate for them to take away this feature.

NFL retirees are unhappy that Electronic Arts used their likenesses and stats in Madden NFL 09 without paying for the rights to do so. The game didn't include the old-timer's names in order to run the end around on licensing fees, the class-action lawsuit alleges. EA also changed the players' numbers for an extra layer of protection.

Ok... but again i dont see a "NFL Greats" team in Madden 11 at all...
There are no historic players whatsoever, scrambled numbers or not, they just dont appear to be there this year from what i have read. my question is are they? and if not why?

I am sorry but with that info your ? is answered. That's why you don't see it

Cause former players are suing them and your asking for them to put those

players back on and get sued again?

The "NFL Greats" were in Madden 10 for the Xbox 360

The link you posted just says that the players names and numbers can't be used, but they were still implemented in last year's edition of Madden football. It says nothing about removing them completely

Because EA got sued for doing it in Madden 10, they decided not to put the greats in Madden 11. There, happy?

I prefer that there not in the game more room for created players and to concentrate more on the rosters rather then fantasy rosters
