I was reading that the first patch for Madden 11 will contain the option to switch to traditional pre-snap button controls (eliminating the Strategy Pad). Has this been released for today's launch? Anyone gone back to the original scheme?

I am. At least right now I say I am. The new pre-snap controls just feel slower. This is most likely because I'm not used to the new system. Unless I get much faster with it by the patch, I'm changing for sure.

I'll be using the old style once it's released. Itnfeels more natural to me and takes much less time.

Old style. I use it on NCAA and its hard to switch back and forth for no reason.

Ian's blog said the first week of the NFL season guys, not patch one.
