It asks you if you want to download it when you get to the point where things such as profiles and rosters are loaded.

nah code was used already do I need that to get it

yup. i dont think you can get it otherwise unless you home computer/USB it by some means beyond my explaining.

I just bought the game on Ebay so I'm hoping it will have a code in it. With that said, can anyone tell me what I can't do without a online code?

you cant use anything to do with xbox live or psn to my understanding. kinda bs for xbox users who are already paying money to use xbox live......
