I am wanting to buy a new laptop. I need it to be able to load things quick like applications, powerpoints, and such. I will need it to be able to do a fantasy football draft also. I also have a budget of around $300-$600. I want at least a 250 GB hard drive, maybe 2 GB or 3GB memory, 2-4 GB of RAM. If you guys know of any good ones or could post a link to some info on good laptops, I would appreciate it, thank you.

Pretty much any entry level laptop on the market will fit the bill based on your usage and preferred specs.

FYI, memory and RAM are the same thing.

Yeah you can easily walk into any Best Buy or Walmart and find a laptop for under $500 to fit your needs.

Our son just received a Dell laptop that was refurbished. Started out as $1,000 and he just paid over $800.00 for it with 20% off.
