Can real life injuries be accounted for when playing association mode?

I think in madden, if you download a roster update and a player is injured for 4 weeks in real life, when you start a new franchise mode with pre-existing injuries set to "on" the player will miss the first 4 weeks of your madden franchise.

In the NBA, guys like Perkins this upcoming season are injured until mid season. If you want to keep player roles on, but simulate the injury by not playing them until February, I think their morale drops as they feel they aren't being played enough minutes.

Can they account for this in 2k11?

Re: Can real life injuries be accounted for when playing association mode?

Sadly, this is afeature only implemented by the opposition, Live 10 had this mode called "Dynamic Season" where you could play out the real season selecting to enter and play games thus altering the course of history.

I would LOVEit if 2k gives us something similiar to this in 2K11, that would completely eliminate the whack simulated stats and the plain fact that you can never predict the course of an nba season in advance (injuries, chemistry issues, trades etc) thus rendering any season in the current franchise mode totaly different from what happens in real life...

It would be AMAZING if 2k had something like the online dynasty this year, since I don't play live. This would be the single most important feature to me.

That was my initial hope for nba today

Because it keeps track of wins/losses and in season stats, that you could just start a new association mode from any point of the real nba season and play from there.
