Just curious as to see what everybody's favorite teams are to use online and why. Right now I'm enjoying using the Anaheim Ducks due to their depth at front and I'm having a lot of success with their top three lines. The defense isn't the strongest but with Neidermayer and Visnovsky as the top pair I can't really complain. What about you guys?

I don't play online anymore, however, when I used to I liked to use the 'Randomize' button if I wasn't playing with the Kings. Or I would use a rival team of whomever my opponent picked. It's always fun playing Ott/Tor, MTL/Bos or Pitt/Was match-ups.

I'm my experience playing ranked online versus (which is great when you play people that don't try to cheat or prematurely quit when they're down), most people tend to use the top teams, like either Chicago, San Jose, Philly, Pittsburgh or Detroit. Very rarely will you play someone who likes to use the Islanders or Florida even if its their team.

Me personally, i love using Philly, L.A and Vancouver and of course Chicago.

I usually use my team, the Rangers most of the time. But there are times when my opponent decides to pick a really good team like Detroit or Washington, so i usually counteract with either Chicago or Pittsburgh.

i like to pick a sub-par team, and if my opponent still selects a team like chicago or pittsburgh then i usually dont play them unless their gamertag is something like: hawksfan4life. you can usually tell a lot about someone by what teams they pick, which really sucks for legitimate fans of those teams

I like just picking random teams. It makes it a bit more of a challenge.

I played with the Oil today and had a blast. Won 3-1. They have a lot of quick forwards and fairly good depth up front (although shallow d-corps and no top-tier talent). Goaltending is suspect as well.

I usually go with my Wings. Decent goalie, defensmen that can hit and/or shoot well, The first two lines are filled with guys that can score, and, of course, there my favorite team
