*** The Office: Season 7 ***

This is the final season for Steve Carrell. I thought Season 6 was by far the worst season in the series history.

Season 7 starts on September 23rd.

Am I the only one that didn't like the Holly character at all?

Should be an interesting season, being Carrell's last. I do agree that last season was weak.

Not that I didn't like her, but I would have liked Michael hooked up with the married hottie much more than Holly. Unfortunately Holly is too much like Michael.

A little further back, I thought Jan and Michael was an interesting match up until they inexplicably put her in a strait jacket.

I think it'll be nice for Holly to come back and Michael get with her. Since this is his last season, I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up getting together, and maybe moving away or something.

I really think with Carrell leaving the show, the show may be doomed. But I do have an idea that could at least get the show through another season or so...or, if the idea worked well, it could actually lead to building new top characters, and it could keep going, but that may be a stretch.

Here's my idea:

David Wallace's Suck It product could take off. Wallace could end up buying Dunder Mifflin back from Sabre. This bringing back the Corporate location in New York. Wallace could then bring Michael to Corporate, as a bigger manager than what he is now.

This way, the employees at the Office in Scranton, could get e-mails and phone calls from Michael, which keeps him in the show for a while, just not physically there. People could get funny e-mails, and they could get funny instructions and comments from him. So he'd still kind of be there.

I really love this show, but am afraid that with Carrell leaving, that we're heading toward the end. And if they don't end it, I'm afraid it could really wind up being bad after Carrell leaves.

I'd say they may be able to do one season after he leaves. That's probably about it.

I'm hearing they're trying to get Rhys Darby (Murray from Flight of the Conchords) and/or Danny McBride for the show. No idea on plans for replacing Michael. But I'd definitely watch if it were Rhys.
