Online Play + Custom Sounds

I have never really messed with custom sounds, but me and some friends are doing an online dynasty and would be willing to take the time to do them if they would hear them when we play each other.

I am assuming this does not work, but I wanted to check.

...and by this I mean if I play someone online they will be able to hear my custom sounds and vice versa.

It would only "work" if you all used the same songs. It wouldn't recognize the fact that you are using the same but you would still hear the same stuff at the same times. You would have to set the song to play for all teams. Not really ideal. I can see why they have it off (people would put annoying/dirty things in there) but it would be nice if they just have it as an option.

I don't even think that's what it is, dude, although it's certainly a point, lol. I think it's just a matter of, how would they hear it? It's on your harddrive. Like any other game with custom soundtracks - a racer, for example - other people online aren't gonna hear the songs you're playing on your system from your harddrive.

EA doesn't want you streaming copyrighted music over the internet through their game. That's the real risk, I'm guessing.
