Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)

I just hope 2K puts enough attention to the detail of Jordan's teammates and opponents in the Jordan challenge. Since they deserve too to look different according to the year they are playing in.

The Bulls teams should play in black sneakers+white socks in playoffs/finals games through 1990 to 1992 and in black sneakers+black socks i playoffs/finals games through 1996 to 1998.

The only Bulls teams to play in white sneakers+socks should be the ones in the regular season challenges and the 1986 playoff Bulls vs the Celtics.

Jordan should look like this in the Bad Boys Challenge with a red small forearm band and with his calf sleeve on his right calf (not his left):

Horace Grant should be different in 1990, 1991 and 1992.

1990 mustache, slight facial hair:

1991 Finals challenge, mustache with clear round frames:

1992, clean shaven white squared frames:

The same with Pippen.

1990 no facial hair, knee brace, no tattoo:

1991, flat top white right forearm band no tattoo:

1992, shorter flat top, black right forearm band, no tattoo:

1995 vs knicks challenge, with white right forearm band:

1996 vs supersonics black left elbow band mustache+goattee:

1997, 1998 black left elbow band :

The same should be done with BJ Armstrong, Cliff Levingston who had a mustache in 1991 but didn't have one in 1992.

Also a young Bulls version of Charles Oakley should be different than the 1995 Knicks version.

Rodman, black haired and with no tattoos on Pistons as opposed in Bulls era:

These are the most important ones I think... there should be 7 different Pippens, 3 different Grants, 3 different Levingstons including Hawks version, at least 3 different Rodmans, 3 BJ Armstrongs (rookie+1991, 1992 and 1995) etc.

Yeah, I agree with almost all of that. Just about the 1990 MJ vs the Pistons, he also had the black-red calf sleeve on his left calf. I think he switched it back and forth for some reason back then. Also, notice the white tights they wore under the shorts every now and then back then.

By the way, I think the Bulls were the first team to wear a bit longer shorts from the 1989-90 season. Well, at least MJ wore them.

Lol 2k and accessories...sorry guys but I'm expecting a thread reaching 100+ about lebrons headband when 2k messes it up again this year...i hope I'm wrong though...they will get the body type right but I really have my doubts when it comes to accessories..

Well, if the fix the calf sleeve-sock bug, that's like a revolution...

But I do expect them to get MJ's accessories right. They may not be accessories though, they may be part of the player, like it was in 2K2 or 2K3 - where you couldn't edit the accessories. And since we have several different MJ models, that's possible.

If anyone has a Tweeter account, you'd better contact Ronnie2K and tell him about that.

Eh, not a big deal to me. Never get the accessory guys, though I guess to each their own.

I hope they make the whites of his eyes more of a pink color like they were in the flu game. It was really the look of Michael's eyes that made him appear ill. I hope that can be conveyed through the game when they have close-up's on him: jaw dropped, bent over in shear exhaustion, etc.

Great pics. But I don't really care if Horace has a mustache or not.
Attention to detail regarding colors/mustaches isn't as important as gameplay. 90% of people couldn't tell you what color sweat band Jordan had on in 88.

That's true. I would not be able to tell anyone what color sweat band he was rocking in '88 yet somehow, I notice and truly appreciate when a game's art department makes that kind of devotion to detail. There was at least one 2K (I believe 2004 of all years) that featured a "current" Shaquille O'Neal and Shawn Kemp as well as a skinnier Kemp and Shaq (with hair) on the all 90's squad. I always thought it was cool they made that differentation. The varied details on each Bulls team is what will help distinguish one squad from another.
