Is there a purpose of running an online dynasty & offline dynasty with the same team?

just a question for people who do both? I would like to know the pros and cons

Well, offline, I'm playing for my own enjoyment, so I tend to pick my favorite team or a team I can have fun with.

Online, I usually play in dynasties with other people with rules... like I'm playing in a Big East dynasty, so I got to be a Big East team (Syracuse). I'm also in a dynasty where everyone plays in a different conference. I got C-USA and picked Southern Miss.

Offline I play with Arkansas, or I'll create a really bad teambuilder school and build them up from the bottom (I do this as opposed to playing as say EMU, so I can get uniforms, stadium, mascot, etc, I like and have fun creating the team.)
