What Conference should Appalachian State go in?

For Teambuilder, which conference do you guys put them into and who do you delete? They must be in the game forever in my opinion !!!

Hold on, Appalachian State is not in the game? I thought NCAA had 1A and 1AA schools in the game.

I would use Big East or the MAC. Those would be the two most likely. If not the sunbelt. I would say in that order.

I don't know who you would toss in the Big East (maybe Syracuse?). In the MAC maybe NIU?

MAC and if they improve they could move into conference USA.

I would personally say the Sun Belt. That's probably the weakest conferest in the NCAA so it would be good for a team just starting out in 1A. MAC would work too I suppose. Big East makes sense geographically, but that's a lot more prestigious than the other two.

Yeah I put them in C-USA just so they could play Marshall and ECU. Other than that, I would say the Sunbelt, the Big East is a big step up, and the MAC is more the Great Lakes Region and just doesn't really make much sense.

As an alumni, I would love for them to hop into the C-USA, and I think they could compete against UAB, ECU, Marshall, etc.

You could take out WKU, although they just got into 1A a few years ago. FIU is an option too.
