Blocking Kicks

Has anyone ever blocked an extra point or field goal in any of the ncaa games. I never have. It seems like it is almost impossible.

Re: Blocking Kicks

Whenever EA first introduced "Jump the Snap" blocking kicks was pretty easy. And, as always, when they tried to fix it, they went to the other end of the spectrum and it's been that way since. I blocked one kick in last years game and that was it. You're better off selecting Dime 3-2-6 Cover 3 when the other team is kicking the field goal.

Re: Blocking Kicks

Yeah it's pretty much pointless. IIRC, it was very easy last year for the PS2. But this years version (on 360 at least) has been very difficult. I haven't come close either.

Nope. I think it is impossible. Remember back in PS2 days when they came out with block kicks?? Like on kick or punt formations n u would press triangle to bring u to the 3rd person mode?? Yea what happened to that? It was sssooooooo easy to block kicks on the PS2!!!!!!

Re: Blocking Kicks

Kinda like returning punts this year... I understand turning down the cheese and such but it's like next to impossible to return a punt, let alone block a kick.

I have had teams punt from inside their one, use punt block and not even come close when trying my hardest. I don't know, but it sure SEEMS impossible.

Re: Blocking Kicks

that' one thing that has bugged me bout madden and ncaa. lack of any improvement to special teams. i think madden 04 returning kicks was fun especially punts it made that part of the team matter
