smaller school recruiting help

if im using a smaller school ( 1 or 2 star) is there anyway i can get a 4 star recruit to come to my school or am i screwed until i win a big bowl game?

There is an achievement for bringing a 5* QB or RB to a 1* or 2* school. So it's not impossible.

Im guessing it would be a combination of Location and Early playing time.

There may be some 1/2 stars that have good campus lifestyle.

If academic prestige, staying close to home and early playing time are important to him you may have a great shot. But basically the planets have to align for it to happen. But I am sure its possible.
