... has anyone taken a little time to see how players progress through a dynasty in terms of their ratings? This was a game-killer for me and lots of other people last year and I'm waiting to buy the game until I get some sense of whether or not the players (recruits included) progress too fast too soon and if there will actually be highly rated recruiting busts as well as low-rated recruiting surprises.

Any insight into this would be much appreciated. I want to buy this game so bad and love NCAA all over again, so help me out.

Really a nice, in-depth thread.

The prognosis seems to be that there's actually slight regression over time, where 99 players actually end up being extremely rare, as does teams rated A and A-.

This results in what I believe is a fantastic system where players over 97 are truly phenomenal and stand out instead of dozens or hundreds of players reaching 99 and there being nothing special about it.

But seriously, going through that thread an hearing that the 99s and 98s are held to a minimum and that 6 and 7 years into a dynasty there aren't 30+ A-rated teams just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

That alone, as a dynasty only player, could bring me back to NCAA full time.
