...when I can leave in 35 minutes and go get the game at Wal-Mart.

I pre-ordered with Gamestop and they said no to a midnight release. I am having to will myself against buying the game tonight and it sucks.

There was zero incentive to pre-ordering with Gamestop... Lesson learned I guess.

I hope everyone is having an amazing time playing the game tonight!

Get it at walmart and get your 5 dollars back on your preorder or put it towards something else

I am sitting here thinking the same thing. I already called my Walmart adn they said they will have it at midnight. It is only like 10 minutes away from my house.

So do I go and get it, come home and play a couple of hours then go to bed or wait another 9 hours?

I could go to Wal-Mart tonight and just get it and then go to Gamestop tomorrow and just tell them that I want to cancel the pre-order, right? They should just credit my debit card back...

I don't like doing that but I want the game tonight. I was even told that there would be a midnight release up until yesterday when I paid in full, but I got the text today telling me to pick the game up after 9 AM on Tuesday. I called them on my lunch break and was told that the midnight release was cancelled. They didn't even apologize.

I'm thinking I should just go get the game tonight and deal with Gamestop tomorrow.

Not sure since it is paid in full. I would think they would credit your card or may have to give you store credit
