I haven't played a basketball game on a console in YEARS. Mainly a Madden and The Show player. This Free Agency bonanza has reignited my interest in playing basketball on my PS3.

Not knowing much about basketball games, I read reviews on both 2k10 and Live and picked up Live. What a waste of my time. The menus are atrocious. Navigating the game was absolute nightmare. Exchanged the game for 2k10 and haven't regretted it since. Easy menus, true HD presentation, and the game plays well.

But, what I really love about this game, that I can't do on The Show, is how in depth you can edit a player. Down to tendencies, attributes, what part of the floor they shoot well from, AND SALARIES. Just unbelievable.

Yea this game definitely allows you edit a player's attributes and tendencies to a tee. But I wish there were more options for accessories to make the players look more tru-to-life.

I absolutely hate the menus in 2K, but that's just me.
But everything else I agree with.

Yeah, I hated the 2K menus at first, I thought they lacked character and were maze-like. At this point, I actually enjoy the menus a fair amount; they may not be perfectly thought out, but you can navigate through them quickly, which is convenient.
