No "Clown" Gear in NHL 11?

Why are equipment boosts so bad, it just adds extra customization. It is annoying that you can buy them, but at least that isn't the only option, they aren't that difficult to unlock, just need to put some time in offline

Hopefully there are still some unique designs. It would be rad if they let you create customized equipment, and put a photoshop design, or upload a pic from your PS3, to your equipment.

If they keep the boosts then they should definitely let you use regular equipment with the boosts.

They had the Kane gear, and the helmet they put in with a patch that you could use for 3 boost slots once you unlocked a different 3 boost slot helmet

Yea, some of them were kinda bad, but the only things that I thought were not worth trying for were the gold packs and a couple of the goalie things
