Exactly when has a player won a chip "on their own"?

Throuh this whole process of LeBron leaving the cavs I've seen over and over again that "this proves he can't do it on his own". I can't think of one great player who didn't need a robin to be their to help them win their rings, but just because it lebron people bash him?In 2007 lebron led a (in my opinion) horrible cleveland team to the finals and I can't think of 1 man carrying a team the way he did.

Mj had pippen, and as good as Kobe is people are forgetting he was demanding a trade to the bulls not too long ago because he wanted the same thing lebron wants which is to win.And because it didn't get done he's let off the hook.

The point is that he didn't GET a Robin. He BECAME Robin. And AI dragging the 76ers was much more impressive than LeBron carrying the Cavs, IMO.

The Dream won....without anyone even close to being a 'Robin' in 1994

Kobe has played Robin. But people respect him much more now that he's Batman.

True and if the Knicks won that series same could be said about Ewing.

I think the best way to define it ( maybe I think of a better) but when you are clearly the go to guy on your team and the seen as the leader. Kobe is clearly the go to guy on their team. Go to guy just doesn't refer to last shot but when your team really needs a bucket throughout the game. There were plenty of other examples to use but Kobe is the best recent one to win a championship.
