Okay...
IF they are zipped(meaning if you download it from a website like here...they probably are)...you have to unzip the folder.
You can use this....www.winzip.com .....the trial version will work for 45 days.

Once the folder is unzipped and the save is on the USB drive...make sure the structure is this...

PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS(49303859...I'm making these numbers up...they are different for each save) inside here are the actual save files.

With the USB in the PS3....go to the front screen(the screen you see WITHOUT a game in...)
Go to the GAME section
Go to the SAVED DATA UTILITY(PS3) section
Highlight the USB drive...hit X..
Highlight the save...hit triangle...and choose COPY.
This will copy the save to your hard drive.

Now when you play the game...you have to choose that saved roster when you are ready to play or start a franchise.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Start here...
Download the file from this link
....http://www.sendspace.com/file/jv9m1x

Now, once you have installed WinZip....double click on that zipped file and choose EXTRACT ALL FILES...it will already be in a named folder......
Here is the important thing....depending on your Operating System....it may make an extra folder...so if the folders come out...
2000NYY/PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS593483049...you have to drag the PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS49584509438 section out of that 2000NYY folder.
The important thing is...UNZIPPED the file structure must be
PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS5943839383
Drag that folder to your USB drive.

Now....put the USB into your PS3...start the machine...and go to front screen(the screen you see without a game in or when you quit a game)...
Go to the
GAME section....then to the
SAVED DATA UTILITY(PS3(not the MINI) section...
Hit X on the USB drive...
Highlight the save on there....
Hit Triangle and choose COPY.

This will copy it to your HDD.

Sounds complicated...but once you do it....it's very easy.

Need help?...let me know.

Re: USB key instructions

It says there is no saved data on the usb. This seems really easy, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to download Hustlin's file where he started a franchise and set all the lineups and rotations.

Oh...that's not a roster save...that's a franchise file.
I'm not sure how Hustlin' zipped them up.....

However...if you get the no saved data....it's usually the wrong folder structure or you are trying to copy the save in someplace other than the SAVED DATA UTILITY(PS3) section.

hightower;
If you are trying the link I gave you for example....you have to remove the PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS folders from inside the 2000NYY folder(that's an extra that happens when it gets unzipped)
Any saved file has to be PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS.....make sure it's that way to start.
