Ball Hitting Runner In Fair Territory, Not Called Out

So I was playing as the Braves against the Phillies last night. Runner was on third for Philly with 2 outs. Werth pulls a ball that ends up hitting the runner in fair territory, as a result the ball stopped and my 3b wasn't able to get to it in time to throw either runner out and the runner wasn't called out either. Not sure if this was a one time bug or if this is a problem with the game. What have you guys seen when a runner is hit with the ball in fair territory? Has he been called out?

The logic for the runner being hit by a batted ball in fair territory does not appear to be in the game. I have seen it occur a few times without the runner being called out.

Luckily it's pretty rare since this is the first time I have seen it happen. Just annoyed that it ended up costing me a run late in the game. Hopefully the logic is implemented next year.

Yeah, it's a major bug & oversight, hope they fix it for 11.

In my old Marlins franchise (I have a new one with the OSFMV4 Updated Roster) I was on the positive end of this. I believe it was Dan Uggla at second base and I can't quite remember who it was that hit the ball and it plunks Uggla on the foot, stopping dead. That put me into a first & third situation. I believe it was my pitcher who was batting.

Just to be sure, did the ball pass any fielder first (not including the pitcher)? Because the ruling on that really is if the ball passes any infielder (that isn't the pitcher) first and no other infielder had a chance to make a play on it, and of course the runner didn't intentionally interfere with the ball, then it is a live ball.

No it did not. It hit the runner about halfway down the third base line.
