Training assignments

I'm having a lot of trouble with the training assignments in Franchise mode. Almost all of my players are "getting worse" (looking at the attributes etc) in several areas, although my coaches should be pretty good.

How do I fix this? Does anybody have any tips on how to assign proper training schedules, types etc? I'm trying to have the players train various things within 1 week, but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions?

Is this during the season or after? If it is during (which I'm assuming it is since you can train them) it is simply your players getting worn down over the course of the season. Your training will pay off with increases to players younger than 29 at the start of the offseason. Players over 35 won't really recover from their losses over the season. Also I recommend training in 1.5 week sections it has given me some increases to "A" potential players by +11.

  9. Long Toss -> Arm Strength -> All
  10. Infield Drills -> Arm Accuracy / Fielding Ability ->All
  11. Shagging Fly Balls -> Reaction -> All
  12. Catcher Drills -> Plate Blocking -> Catchers
  13. Pitch Simulated Game -> Pitching Clutch -> Pitchers
  14. Pitching Coach Session -> H/9, HR/9, K/9, BB/9 ->Pitchers
  15. Bullpen Session -> Velocity, Control, Break ->Pitchers
