What to do if re-installing the game doesn't work?

There's a freezing glitch happening to me during every game. It makes it totally unplayable. I uninstalled the game data from my PS3, deleted all of the save files, etc, and it's still doing it. Is there something wrong with my PS3, or should I try getting a different copy of the game? None of my other games freeze/have glitches. Thanks for any help you can give.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest patch? Assuming you properly uninstalled the game...by deleting all MLB 10 The Show files from Game Data Utility, as well as ALL MLB 10 The Show files from Save Data Uitility...

Power off your PS3, then put in MLB The Show. The first screen you should see is the download screen for the latest patch. Download and install that, then let the game install. The latest patch fixed most of the freezing issues.

EDIT: I should have clarified...you need internet connectivity obviously to download the patch.

I think I downloaded the patch, but I'll try powering it down. Thanks for the help.

If you correctly uninstalled and deleted everything off of your PS3, this included the patch. The Game Data Utility is the patch/install files. So assuming you do it properly, it will request that you download the patch on re-install.

So I installed the patch, and the same problem is happening. I don't know if the problem is with the PS3 or the game, but I think I'm done with this one.
