The FCS Project/Team Directory

2010 NCAA Football 11 Teambuilder FCS Project

GET THE BASE ROSTER SET AND ACCURATE BRAND FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT AND CLEATS BY USING THIS.... http://bit.ly/aoCZAC

RATINGS SCALE (UPDATED 7/15/10)
Most teams will not have 3 impact players.
The FCS Project/Team DirectoryThese guys can be rated higher. Also, Ben Ijalana (Villanova) should have an OVR of 87, Pat Devlin(Delaware) should have an OVR of 83, Mark LeGree (App State) should have an OVR of 85. These are the 3 highest players in this project.
Top (Impact) Players- 73-75 (This does not mean you can only have 3, but I'd say most teams will have 2 guys that fall in this range. Northern Iowa has more,Idaho State should have 1 or none
Starters- 65-72
2nd String- 60-64
Bench-50-59
Fresh- < 53 (Less than 53 ovr, 3 star recruits can be higher)

Imxpact Players: 80-82 (should only be up to 3 players per team MAX)Others: <65

Playbook Guide-http://bit.ly/b04zse

Program Ratings Scale

Academic Prestige:
Ivy League schools all get an A+. If a school is considered a public Ivy give it an A or A+. There are alot of fine academic institutions in FCS so we will see a wide range of scores. Otherwise use your own discretion.
Campus Lifestyle:
If the school is an a big city, party school, or if it is recognized for having excellent extracurricular programs adjust accordingly.
Coach Experience:
You can also give a bonus of 1 if the Coach has exp as an FBS Head Coach/NFL other; or a full letter grade for exp as an NFL HC,
No exp: D+
Less than 2 years exp: C-
3 years: C+
5 years: B
7 years: B+
10 years exp: A
Coach Prestige:
If the coach has been part of a successful team, as a player or coach they should be highly ranked.
Championship Contender:
Bonuses should be awarded to schools when they have been in FCS playoffs within the past 3 years or are highly ranked here...... The highest available score is a C+ and should be given to schools like Montana, App State, Richmond, Villanova, etc.
Athletic Facilities:
Should be no higher than C with 95% of schools falling in the D/D+ range.
Pro Potential:
This will factor in current NFL players, past NFL players, and the level of their success. (Non-NFL players may have a small impact: UFL, AFL, AFL2, CFL, etc.) I'm going to cap this at C+
Program Stability:
I'll cap this at B+ and that should only be given to schools with a streak of winning seasons longer than 5 years.
Program Tradition:

Capped at B+Fan Base:
http://web1.ncaa.org/web_files/stats...dance/2009.pdf
avg attendance 20,000+: B
17,000-19,999: C+
12,000-16,999: C
10,000-11,999: D+
lower 10,000: D

UPDATED: 9/14/10 (Green "x" indicates that this team is using accurate ratings)

Re: The FCS Project/Team Directory

I just created Illinois State Redbirds and will be doing a few more MVFC teams. I generally kept in mind the ratings discussed in the other thread. However, I am not done with the rosters and ratings. The overall team rating should be about right as of now though. I may also be changing the stadium once NCAA 11 comes out and I can see it in game.

Here is what I have come up for FCS teams in terms of player attributes:

Back-Ups: 65-75
Starters: 72-78
All-American Honorable Mentions: 78-82
All-American 2nd Team: 80-84
All-American 1st Team: 84-89
NFL Prospects: 88-94

As for Program Info:

Academic Prestige: F to A (Some FCS Schools have better academics than FBS; ex: Ivy League)

Campus Lifestyle: F to A (Some FCS schools have similar campus lifestyles to those of the best FBS schools)

Coach Experience: F to C (Maybe a few exceptions)

Coach Prestige: F to C-

Championship Contender: F to D

Athletic Facilities: F to C- (Exceptions? Any FCS schools have athletic facilities that compare to the best of FBS?)

Fan Base: F to C

Pro Potential: F to C-

Program Stability: F to C

Program Tradition: F to B

Television Exposure: F to C-

Again these are the ratings and ranges that I initially believe most FCS schools fall into. Feel free to modify, debate (agree or disagree) with anything above. Let's get this discussion going so we can have the most accurate FCS teams out there!
sikolec did a good job and i think we should go by this. i made Duquesne last season and will do it again this year. ill do other northeast conference teams if i have time.

As I stated in another thread, I have many FCS logos that can be used to make these teams. Just let me know what you need. I would love to help make these teams as accurate as possible.

I love that guide. 94 might be high for an NFL prospect. For example Ducasse (LT- UMASS) last year would have been a 90-92 by me and he was easily the best FCS prospect. and a guy like Armanti Edwards might land in the same area as well for an NCAA rating.

IMO three guys should be in the 90s this yr from FCS schools... Ben Ijalana (Villanova), Mark LeGree (App State), and Pat Devlin (Delaware).

I also think we should use "F" ratings liberally for program info.

Are they on your computer or do u have a site? I'd love to have people using logos without the copyright symbols. And possibly using alternates not on EA's site.
