Thoughts on Pro-Tak in Madden 11

Ok well we've seen some videos and to me it looks like Pro-Tak hasn't received much attention. It looks very similar to Madden 10's, but it could change from now. But there's some things I wish that was changed.

The plays where Tebow runs over a player (dont like that animation), and Bush you see these players trying to tackle them. But they are locked into a animation in which the outcome has already been decided. I was hoping for Madden 11 we would get Pro-Tak 2.0 in which a defender could join an already occurring-animation, and possibly knock the pile over. I do not like to see them act as 'tumbleweeds' (Versuz calls them that, and while I disagree with his videos as he takes these games way too seriously, he's right on this), and have no chance at effecting the play.

Also, I have played the NCAA 11 demo and while there are still 'tumbleweeds', Pro-Tak seems more polished. It just looks more cleaned up, and doesn't have those silly animations that seem to defy phsyics (like the Tebow and Bush ones).

Well, I would just like to hear your thoughts on this so please post. But no bashing on the game, or bringing up Backbreaker vs. Madden, please.

Yeah kind of like they didn't touch it at all.

Biggest problem is that if one tackler is engaged the rest just fly past

Nothing about pro tak looks right. Its garbage completely and totally. Remove it from the game. Steal the tackling format of all pro football, if going physics based is too much.

Re: Thoughts on Pro-Tak in Madden 11

I have seen some nice examples of it in the NCAA 11 demo, not sure why it isn't triggering as much in these Madden videos? If it is improved in NCAA, hard to imagine it won't be the same or better in Madden as it usually has more polish then NCAA. Not sure what is going on?

I do hate when guys just fall over instead of getting in on the play, not good.

ProTak looks the same as last year from every video I have seen of it. Only thing that looks different is that it doesn't trigger as often.

The only thing i can say is, lets just try to put some kind of physics in the game but I do like the way the game is coming out so far
