Just a thought..(regarding big E3 announcement)

I was really hoping to hear some info about NCAA today, but we won't be hearing anything until tomorrow.

I, like many of you, am hoping that the "major announcement" doesn't pertain to something we already know. I'm sincerely hoping for a coaching carousel, but then I got to thinking about my impressions post....

Corso is absent from the booth, and Kirk and Brad's commentary seems sparse. (Granted, it IS only a demo)

But what if the "big news" is that of another broadcast team? The NCAA team seemed to focus pretty heavily on presentation this year, and it doesn't seem like they would totally get rid of the old Corso soundbites but not replace them with anything.

Coupled with the fact that many were surprised about how well NCAA Basketball 10 did it, I'm really starting to wonder if we'll see a second broadcast team in NCAA '11.

Far-fetched? Maybe. But it doesn't seem like they would just remove Corso's lines (tired as they may be). Maybe they'll just add another person in the booth with Kirk and Brad (again...doubtful) But Madden added Gus Johnson, (while subtracting Tom Hammond ) so I suppose anything is possible.

Any news delivered tomorrow that isn't something we already know (or online co-op) would be great. A new broadcasting team seems pretty improbable, but who knows?

Who knows, but you got my hopes up too much now lol :P I think I will be waiting ALL DAY to hear about this tomorrow!!! UGh oh well lol

Yep I would hope it is coaching casaruls. However I can live without it, hopefully its another broadcast team though.

Alot of people would be angry. A 2nd broadcast team is less important than pretty much all of the things so far IMO. It might be in their announcements, but I don't think its the BIG one.

Don't know if this has been posted but Lee Corso suffered a stroke earlier this year. His time on ESPN was limited due to his slurred voice. I think that's why he may be out of the game.

While I know that Corso had a stroke, and am sympathetic to that situation, there was nothing wrong (audibly, anyway) with his commentary lines already in-game.

I can somewhat understand them taking Corso's lines out in order to represent the fact that he may have a limited role for the 2011 season, but the fact that Brad, Kirk, and Corso rarely did game commentary together seems to go against the rationale that EA would take Corso out just to accurately represent a more realistic broadcast experience.

Do I think we'll have a new broadcast team? No, I think it's very, very unlikely. Like I said, it was just a thought. I'm just hoping that whatever the "big news" is, it's not something that we already know about. (Online dynasty improvements, an opportunity for madden-style online co-op, etc...)

Coaching carousel would be absolutely great by me. Logically, you would think that that would mean that they also signed on to get the names of the big-time college coaches a la NCAA Basketball or old school College Hoops. THAT would be great, and I'd actually prefer that to another broadcasting team.

I guess we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out....hopefully.

Give us something we all want and need in the game that goes with the 120 ways to win. And that coaching changes because styles wins games,And if that coach leaves or is fired he takes his style with him leaving the next coach to bring in his style of play.
