Mike Pelfrey's Splitter

This year Mike Pelfrey added a nasty splitter to his repertoire...its helped him start off 8-1 with a 2.30 ERA..however SCEA still hasnt added it to his player on the roster updates for some reason

Can someone give me some good stats to make his splitter in the game myself...thanks guys!

Re: Mike Pelfrey's Splitter

Has anyone (media, former players or coaches) given a comparison for his splitter? For example, Pelfrey's splitter is a lot like Clemens' splitter when he was playing. Even better, if they compared it to somebody already in The Show. That way you can just look at their attributes are and adjust accordingly...

You sure it's not a sinker, cause i was watching the Mets game a little yesterday, and they kept saying he was throwing the sinker.

He throws both. A sinker and a new splitter. His sinker is in the low to mid 90s and his splitter is in the 80s

Haha, i'm listening to Pelfrey right now on Wfan N.Y. talk about how adding the splitter has helped him out this year too.

Re: Mike Pelfrey's Splitter

The problem is...his 'splitter' comes in and down to a right handed batter...something the splitter in The Show 11, does not do (it breaks straight down)...

so what I did is have the sinker as his #1 pitch and I'm using a 2-seamer for his change-split...since it breaks the exact same way in, on a right handed batter...

it's been working just fine....
