Season killed with injuries and underperformance

I'm about ready to give up on the season and become sellers. It's still only May 17th in my franchise but I'm getting to the point where I don't see things turning around. I did just take 2 of 3 from the D'Backs and my record is now 14-23 but I've already lost Nate McLouth for the season, Melky Cabrera just went down for 2 months with a broken hand (and he was hitting the ball pretty good believe it or not), Jason Heyward is now back in the minors because he was struggling so much. So this is my lineup right now.

Schafer
Prado
Chipper
McCann
Glaus
Escobar
Diaz
Blanco

Conrad
Infante
Ross
Hinske
Mitch Jones

If I decide to become sellers who are some players I should target? I figure I'll put Chipper, Glaus (who has 11 HR btw), Wagner, Saito, and Lowe on the trading block.

This roster just can't compete, I've got too many AAAA players on it.

Has anyone traded away veterans for prospects and built from the ground up? If so when did you make that call?

just a bit too early to be sellers, i would think. it cant hurt to put them on the block to see what the cpu offers, and then trade them up before the deadline if you are still way under. inuries are the worst, i just lost tulowitzki for 3 months

9 games under in May isn't insurmountable(sp?). Keeping plugging away, and concentrate on winning each series. You could find yourself in the thick of things by the end of June. If not, then start looking to make moves for the future.
