Break down your team's for 2010.

It's supposed to be breakdown your team's schedule for 2010 but I had a typo. Anyway, here is OU's schedule.

9/4 Utah State - Win

9/11 Florida State - Win. Not a lot to gain here. If OU wins they should win but if they lose it's a bad loss to a team bringing in a new coaching staff.

9/18 Air Force - Win. This game scares me. It's sandwhiched in bewteen Florida State and Cincinnati. Air Force is a decent football team and would love nothing more than to beat OU.

9/25 @ Cincinnati - Loss. OU will probably be favored but I would not be surprised to see Cincy win this game. It's away from Norman and before the Texas game. OU will be lucky to win.

10/2 Texas - Win. OU is due to beat Texas. Colt McCoy and Shipley are finally gone.

10/ 16 Iowa State - Win

10/23 @ Missouri - Win

10/30 Colorado - Win

11/6 @ Texas A&M - Loss

11/13 Texas Tech - Win

11/20 @ Baylor - Win

11/27 @ Oklahoma State - Win

I guess I have OU going 10-2. For some reason I feel like we are going to lose at least one more game but I can't quite figure out which game. Maybe Mizzou or Texas? 9-3 with a Cotton bowl birth seems more likely than a Big 12 championship and BCS birth for this team.

I like these tough OOC games but it's really not that smart of scheduling. The smart route would be to schedule soft so the team could be 100% healthy heading into conference play.

OU benefited from a tough schedule in 2008 when they were vaulted over Texas but it hurt us last year when we lost Bradford in the first game against BYU.

Re: Break down your team's for 2010.

UNC (ATL)- Win. UNC is good, but we find a way to win. Jefferson's coming out party, but only in a 10 point win. LSU 31, UNC 21

@ Vandy- Easy win. 38-10

MSU- Possible trap game. Peterson gets a pick 6 for a momentum killer. 24-14

WVU- Hopefully a replay of 07 VT. LSU 38-21

UT- I'm actually kinda nervous for this game. I don't know what it is, but we never play UT good. This really is a toss up, and it'l end up being a 28-24

Florida- I don't like our chances. We can give Florida a run for their money untill halfway through the 4th, and then we blow it. 31-17 Florida.

Auburn- Tough bounce back game in the middle of a rough stretch. But I say 27-20 LSU off some Auburn mistake.

Bama- This is it. This is what we all have circled on our calenders. Julio is the key to this game. I trust PP to get it done, 28-24 again. LSU

ULM. Really?

Ole Miss- I'm not even going to attempt a score or a key event. just an LSU victory.

Arkansas- At this point in the season, Mallett isn't even a factor. But Ark-Kansas will find a way to keep it close, and a FG in OT ends it for LSU. 33-30.

SEC Championship- Rematch vs. Florida. Same song, different verse.

11-2/10-3 Depending on the UT game

Re: Break down your team's for 2010.

Arkansas St-Win
@Mistake-Win
Clemson-Win
South Carolina-Win
ULM-Win
@Kentucky-Win
Arkansas-Loss
LSU-Win
@Ole Miss-Loss
1AA-Win
UGA-Win
Alabama-Loss

I see Clemson, Arkansas, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, and UGA basically interchangeable with us going something between 5-1 and 2-4 with 4-2 and 3-3 as the most likely situation.

Finish either 9-3 or 8-4

Re: Break down your team's for 2010.

Marshall-Win
Miami (FL)-Win
Ohio-Win
Eastern Michigan-Win
@ Illinois-Win
Indiana-Win
@ Wisconsin-Win
Purdue-Win
@ Minnesota-Win
Penn St-Win
@ Iowa-Lose
Michigan-Win of course.

So I predict 11-1. I think Iowa will be a very good team this year and beat us at Iowa City. I can't wait for the Miami game but I think we can beat the Hurricanes but who knows I think it should be a great game.

Possible losses: Iowa, Miami, Penn St, Wisconsin.

Re: Break down your team's for 2010.

I smell homer city. Anyway:

Boise State (in DC) - tossup... but as I'm homering out, Win
James Madison - Win
East Carolina - Win
at Boston College - Win
at NC State - Win
Central Michigan - Win
Wake Forest - Win
Duke - Win
Georgia Tech - Loss
at North Carolina - Loss
at Miami - Loss
Virginia - Win

9-3, and of course, I've got my Hokies choking down the stretch. Because they tend to do that more than often. Especially with my schedule going this way, they'd be #1 or #2 going into the game with GT.

Re: Break down your team's for 2010.

I will try my best to not be a homer but here it goes:

Sept 4 UCONN-Win
Sept 11 @ Notre Dame-Loss
Sept 18 Massachusetts-Win
Sept 25 Bowling Green- Win
Oct2 @ Indiana- Win
Oct 9 Michigan State-Win
Oct 16 Iowa- Loss
Oct 30 Penn State-Loss
Nov 6 Illinois- Win
Nov 13 @ Purdue- Win
Nov 20 Wisconsin- Win
Nov 27 @ OSU-Loss

I say UM goes 8-4 next year and Rich Rod stays around. The offense will continue to climb upwards and also drastically cut down on turnovers. The defense will be young but finally has some depth. It also helps the defense to have the same defensive coordinator this year. I could also see UM beating Iowa at home and losing to Wisconsin at home.

Miami Hurricanes 2010-11

vs FAMU- Win (Blowout victory)
at Ohio St- Win (game is at 330 which is big for us)
at Pitt- Win (double digit victory)
at Clemson- Win (Overtime as always)
vs FSU- Win (another thriller)
at Duke- Win (easy win)
vs UNC- Win (17 point victory)
at UVA- Win (Blowout victory)
vs Maryland- Win (Blowout victory)
at GT- Loss (probably 31-28 with an only halfway decent defensive job)
vs VT- Win (revenge from last year)
vs USF- Win (close first half, then blowout)

ACC Championship vs Florida State- Win (another close one)
Nat'l Championship vs Alabama- Win (one of the bigger games in CFB history)

Canes finish 13-1 and finally win the ACC and Nat'l Title
