Do EA Need to Remove The WildCat from Madden?

It would be ok if people could use the WildCat in certain situations in football that can be used in to mix the run and the pass, but it seem like cheezy no skill what so ever players can't help but embarrass themself by using it on every down on every play, turning Madden into a silly little arcade game. Playing the same play for 45 minutes making the game tediously annoying and boring. In my opinion, since people want to abuse that formation that it should be remove. How you feel about the WildCat?

The Wildcat formation is something that brings that sense of unpredictability into football. As long as it remains a prevalent presence within pro football, it should be included in the game.

Utilizing certain players in the formation to the teams advantage and playing off of those players skill sets can either contain a positive effect or a negative effect, and the sense of the high-risk vs high reward can create that gamble, risk-taking that coaches and teams who implement the wildcat into their system face.

That true but in real life we all know that using the same play the whole will never happen, but in Madden it is the whole game turning it into a exploit, making the game not simulation that EA preaches.

You do make a good point about that and now that I think about it, it would indeed just be against simulation if it gets run over and over again. You do have a very good point. I agree with you for the Wildcat to either be removed or just tweaked to the point where it won't be as effective every single time its implemented to crackdown on the exploits.

Whats the difference between running 5 wildcat plays all game , and running 5 shotgun pass plays all game?

Because the average game doesn't utilize more than 13 plays.

Really? Are you going to defend the wildcat as it stands in Madden? Is that what you really want to do? Just stop it man.

I've seen the computer use it some, but they don't play in it all game. I would like it to be more realistic, I want to be able to sub in any player at any position and have him try and make a play. Like set up a screen pass to a ST guy that does kick returns, just give him the ball and see if he can make a play, or put a DT in at FB and have him dive up the middle.

I really don't care about the online players, they will always find a way to cheat or exploit the game and I'm tired of it limiting the offline core franchise gamers.
