Re: Worth Buy

2K10 is a fun hockey game with a good set of sliders(which you can download online) and look past the games overall lack of polish. What draws me to the game is the gameplay feels less scripted than Ea's NHL10.

That said, NHL10 is a polished, good looking and deep game. On the higher levels though the game tends to feel a bit scripted. Where no matter how well you play, the Cpu is gonna end up scoring and or winning. If online play is you choice than NHL10 is as well. If you're hockey nut like most of us, you'll most likely want to get NHL10. If you just want a decent and fun game every so often, 2K10.

Re: Worth Buy

recent indications at 2khockey.net say that user made roste rupdates are coming for 2k8...don't bother considering 2k9. it is garbage. 2k8 and 2k10 are the way to go. just go over to youtube and look at some vids and decide which suits you better

Re: Worth Buy

If you like to play franchise I think 2k8 is MUCH better than 2k10. It's so deep: realistic contracts, free agents (rfa, ufa), player progression and training (invidual, scrimmage). Also this game's gameplay is brilliant: for example Goalies are awesome and what's most important thing: They're realistic! Puck physics are also very realistic. But of course there's bad things in 2k8 also: Franchise freezing (xbox 360 has an update but it's still freezing some times) and quite bad AI. It's not bad but it ain't good either.

Here's some info about Franchise mode:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/812/812821p1.html

And here is 2khockey.net which I recommend you to check.

Re: Worth Buy

Sorry, I only know how much it costs in Finland and I think you're not gonna order it from here

Edit: Found this:

http://www.amazon.com/NHL-2K8-Xbox-3...=operasport-20

Not bad price actually.
