I just finished a season and my stats arent on the leaderboard. Do you have to win the Tecmo Bowl for them to be on there?

You have to win the whole thing for it to count.

You don't have to win it all. I lost, and mine are up there. You do have to finish the entire thing though, which means completing the playoffs.

you sure? I ran one with Miami and lost in the conference championship against KC and did not count it. Only count the one i ran before with KC which I won

Yeah. I lost 21-28 against Buffalo thanks to a couple of fumbles. My stats are there, and I've only finished one season.
