NFL players and twitter

I follow several NFL players, Fitz, Ochocinco, Merriman, Fabian Washington, Suh, etc. on twitter and I'll tell you that twitter is one of the one of the greatest ways to really see what these guys are like. Larry Fitzgerald just did a trivia contest and the guy who won got a phone and an autographed jersey from him. Sometimes Ochocinco will announce that he is going to gamestop to pick up a game and whoever is there buying the same game he will buy them the game or he'll say he's going to a restaurant and buy people lunch. These guys are really awesome. I just had to say that.

My roommate follows Chad Ochocinco on twitter and every time (literally, every time) he tweets, I get a verbal update from my friend. Nothing against Chad, but man, my roommate needs to chill. If I wanted to follow Ocho, I would! /Rant.

I used to follow Steven Jackson but turned off the mobile updates after getting a new tweet every hour.

I follow a few Chargers who have Twitter, and some of them (Marcus McNeill, Nwagbuo) have some pretty cool things to say, but it's also caused me to hate my share of players as well due to their insanely ********, and overabundant amount of tweets (Shaun Phillips, Cromartie).

I remember Chad buying everyone movie tickets a few different times as well. That's pretty cool.

Also, Fitz posted his phone number once in a tweet to someone. Not sure if it was real a side phone or what. I never called. LOL. I stil have that tweet as a favorite.
