World Cup 2010 Qualification Mode

Is the ability to play all the way through a region's qualification cycle with a selected team available in this year's game? In previous years, you could select a team and choose whether to place them in a WC Group or go through qualifiying...I have yet to read in any reviews if this aspect (going through qualifying) is included in this years game...If anyone knows, please let me know! Will probably determine whether or not I purchase the game. Thanks!

yes. You can start from qualifying with the real fixtures or customize it if you want. You also get to choose what region you wanna start in.

No I don't think that's what they meant. I think they meant you can randomize the groups and matches before you start a qualifying campaign as opposed to having to play it how it really panned out in real life.

Re: World Cup 2010 Qualification Mode

Let me clear myself up a bit. You first select whether you wanna start a world cup in the final 32 teams phase, start from qualifying, or start a "Full" mode which means it includes qualifying AND friendlies. You also select which region you wanna start in. You also select if you want real fixtures or you can customize the groups and which teams are in it, but the teams you select have to be from that region. So you can't put England in CONCACAF

Question. When you say AND friendlies, do you schedule them or are they random? Are they frequent or sporadic?

Here ya go. Never mind the whiteout. That was just my created player

I will look into your other question about the Friendlies, although I think it's random. I'm gonna restart my world cup because I didnt even notice the "Full" option and just started from "Qualifying"
