I'm staring at an ice-cold pitcher on the mound against a red-hot Cubs team.

Am I confused or is this a mistake/bug/glitch on The Show/SCEA's part?

It's 8 pitches when you bring in a reliever. With a cold reliever coming in as a result of an injury, I believe it's still 8 pitches but the umpire may allow more. I think it goes back to speeding up the game.

The pitcher only appears cold in the bullpen. Once you put them in the game they'll perform as a fully warm pitcher.

No, a pitcher in real life is allowed as many pitches as he wants to warm up when coming in because of injury.

This isn't a bug. You're not going to be allowed to sit there and throw 45 pitches until you max out every pitch.

As opg4 said, it's a video game.
