2010 NBA Playoffs Round 1 Discussion

This is the first playoff series set. Charlotte can do no better or worse than 7th, Orlando no better or worse than 2nd.

I hope Charlotte wins at least one game in the series, but I predict Howard to be to much for the Bobcats.

Just happy to be here!

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs 1st Round: Charlotte vs Orlando

Yeah, I agree. This will be great for the city regardless. I think the Cats will do better than most expect though. I wouldn't put anything past LB. If it goes six I will be very happy.

Western Conference Playoffs - Round 1

Will the real Lakers standup? Will the Thunder come of age? Will Kobe's injuries be too much? Will Durant become a household name? What unsung player will step up? These are the questions I have...discuss.

Bobcats take Magic to 7 games, but lose out at the end.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs Round 1: LA Lakers vs OKC Thunder

Lakers aren't really playing great basketball right now. OKC has young legs but so do the Lakers bench, which will see a lot of time in this series probably. Artest will have some great defensive performances and I think as a team (Odom, Powell, Artest, Brown) the Lakers should give KD problems. LA won't dominate as easily as expected inside as the OKC bigs are savvy and will play defense.

LAL in 6 (should be 5, but I see OKC somehow getting a win in game 1 and then grabbing one later at home)

I won't be at all shocked if the Lakers lose this series...

They are not playing inspiring ball by any stretch of the imagination.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs Round 1: LA Lakers vs OKC Thunder

I just want the Thunder to win one game. Two would be a bit of a stretch.

I see this being a 5 game series, maybe 6 if OKC can still one somewhere.

It probably depends on how seriously the Lakers take the Thunder.

I see the Lakers winning this in 5. Maybe even a sweep. It will be weird seeing the Thunder in the playoffs. If they were not playing the Lakers, I would be rooting for them.
