I just wanted to set up a little archive of the Madden blogs as time goes on. It will be an easy place to access all the blogs and reference them in your posts if referring to one of the earlier ones. I will be updating this as blogs are released.

Blog #1 - Welcome to a new season of Madden NFL Football!

• Introduces new team members
• Previews developers' goals and intentions

Blog #2 - Catch Tuning

• Receivers will try to stay in bounds when going for catch
• Receivers will not run behind first down marker for catch unless necessary
• Receivers will attempt to catch the ball in stride

Blog #3 - Locomotion

• Speed vs. acceleration shown through videos
• Momentum changes will be dictated by agility rating
• Players won't look robotic when running long distances

Blog #4 - Dual-Stick Controls

• Gamespot Q/A (not official EA blog, but Ian considers it a Madden blog)
• Leaning/Twisting will be controlled by right analog stick
• No more canned truck animation

Blog #4.5 - Dual-Stick Controls

• Displays new dual-stick controls
• Explains difference between leaning and truck stick
• Trucking can be steered in any direction

Blog #5 - Game Flow & Game Planning

• Details how GameFlow will influence playcalling and make games quicker
• Examples of coach's audio to headset displayed in video
• Customizable offensive gameplans are based on down/yardage and defensive gameplans are based on what the offense is showing

Blog #6 - Run blocking Improvements

• Improved double team blocking
• Blockers have specific targets pre-play
• Videos of different types of runs display the new changes

Blog #7 - E3 Feature Announcement and Career Modes Update

• Major franchise/superstar updates coming in Madden 2012
• Franchise/superstar will be built from the ground up
• Ability to gameplan against opponents in franchise

Blog #8 - Lighting Improvements in Madden NFL 11

• Compares lighting between Madden 10, Madden 11, and real life
• Jumbotrons, scoreboards, and shadows are rebuilt
• Stadium lighting during night and day are rebuilt

Blog #9 - Online Team Play

• One player will control one squad on offense and defense
• Camera logic has been significantly improved
• Accomplishing tasks with one squad will gain you ratings boosts

Blog #10 - GameFlow and The Strategy Pad

• Too many gamers executed plays while in 'hot-route mode' while on defense
• Too many gamers were not able to snap the ball because they were stuck on some pre-play adjustment menu.
• Old-style button commands will be an option

I cant wait for the next info hope its telling us we will have real time presention along with real time injuries. Man this is badly needed in Madden 11 to add to the realism thats missing in this game.

Didn't really wanna make a thread so has anyone heard on twitter or something about when the next blog is going to drop or what It's going to be about?

Theres going to be a live chat this Thursday regarding locomotion. NCAA will do the same on Wednesday, I believe.

I'm sure there will be another blog. But they haven't announced when we'll get another one.
