MLB.tv compatible with PS3?

Please guys any info on this would be helpful. I would like to signup but I am not sure whether I can just use my PS3. The reason I would rather use this method over is cable that I would rather pay a one time fee of a hundred dollars, just to watch my hometeam.

I am fully aware of the black out restrictions. I can deal with waiting 90 mins after game to watch it in the archives.

What do yall think?

I doubt it, most video site don't work on the PS3. There's a free preview this weekend of MLB.TV I believe, you can try it out for free and see I suppose.

It doesn't work. The PS3's version of Flash isn't compatible with MLB.tv.

Was going to use the PS3 for this myself but I'm having to connect my TV to my PC using the HDMI out on my graphics card. Now all I need is MLB.tv to pull their fingers out and get Nexdef working on Windows 7

Does MLB.tv allow you to download old games? Because if you don't mind watching games a day or so late, you could download them and put them on your hard drive, or you could stream it from your computer after you've downloaded them.

Nope, streaming only.

Just to clarify, you do get access to the archives with an MLB.TV subscription, which means you can stream any game that's already been completed. But no, you can't actually download it to your computer (as far as I know, anyway).

Yeah, that's an embarrassment, quite honestly. It works great for me on Vista, so hopefully they get it running for you guys soon.

At least you can still watch the games, even if it's lowdef. That's certainly not worth paying premium price for, though.
