CPU Aid Thoughts

I've been playing this game with the slider / option setting of CPU Aid at default. Recently I read that putting it at Hardcore helps with the bouncing puck issue because the CPU is not "helping" you grab the puck.

So, I put it at hardcore. To me, it's night and day. I've been scoring more goals and the gameplay feels better. My thoughts are that the CPU (on default) is trying to control a lot of what you do. With it at Hardcore, you're on your own which means YOU control the action. It's almost as if hardcore really means "easier to play".

I've been scoring 4+ goals a game since I switched to Hardcore (using all star). Might have to jump back up to Superstar. Any other thoughts or experiences like this?

I have also experienced the same thing too, its almost like a whole new game.

Definitely. This might cause me to move up to Superstar now. Amazing that it's April and I'm still trying to find good sliders.

Same here. I've felt that different slider sets keep the game fresh and interesting. I use 1 that is pretty realistic but I'm looking 4 nother 1 that might b able 2 top it. Customizing it 2 make it the most realistic hockey game available; that's my aim 4 nhl 10.
