where are the rookies at after you draft them?

hey guys im a newbie to the game and I'm confused. I just went through the draft and I signed my picks but for some reason I don't see them on any roster. Theyre not on my minor league teams or my major league team. Are they not going to be on the roster until next season? I don't understand why they're not on any roster. Can any one help me out? thanks

They don't end up on your roster until the offseason. I think you can train them in the offseason and have them progress, but I 'm not sure.
