Cool thing I found out about pitching rotations.

If you leave the last spot in the rotation empty, your team will employ a 4 man rotation. This can come in handy when you wan't to skip the 5th starter, as some teams do early in the season, due to off days. Will also help in the playoffs, when most teams employ a 4 man rotation.

Actually....I think in post season..the CPU employs a 3 man or 4 man rotation.

Some do employ a 3 man rotation, but most use a 4 man unit. though I know the Yankees used a 3 man rotation last season.

Yeah, I think the Yanks were in trouble if it had gone to game 7. Oh well, I hated both teams in the World Series.

Love to hate them, btw, so respect

I'll use this in the post season. Good find.

This will come in handy in you use classic rosters and re-create a season from yesteryear. I'm old enough to remember when 4 man rotations were the norm.

Has anyone confirmed this? If it's true, that's great.

I'll check later....when I was simming one of my 1000 test seasons...I thought I noticed the pitching matchups to not go to the 4 or 5 starters.
I could be crazy though.
