If you were to create a 12-team power conference, who would be in it?

Mostly a mix of teams I don't hate and sometimes root for, except for UNC of course. I couldn't break that rivalry apart.

Not to mention I think if UCF were in a power conference, they could compete easily. Amazing campus, brand new arena, and it's located in the dead center of a basketball hotbed.

I assume you are talking about the rivalry between UNC and Duke? You wouldn't have trouble breaking up some of the biggest rivalries in basketball other than them? UK/UL or UK/UNC or UK/UT or even UK/Duke?

Maybe UK/Duke isn't that big of a rivalry. Although I would love to see an annual series between them as I think it could be a good rivalry.

When I made my list I strongly considered if I could justify UT/UL in the conference but who would I honestly drop out? Standford would be the most obvious choice as that program is currently down but they have pretty solid tradition there. Arizona is down, but there is no way they get left out.
