Classic Roster almost done- Suggestions wanted

I wanted to make a roster of the best year from each franchise post dead-ball era. I used 1924 as my cut-off point.
I chose the teams using this formula:
1- Win the World Series
tiebreaker = higher winning %
2- Best playoff finish (WS loss > LCS loss > LDS loss)
tiebreaker = higher winning %

So these are the teams:
AL EAST
1970 Baltimore Orioles
2004 Boston Red Sox
1927 New York Yankees
1992 Toronto Blue Jays
2008 Tampa Bay Devil Rays

AL Central
2005 Chicago White Sox
1948 Cleveland Indians
1984 Detroit Tigers
1924 Washington Senators
1985 Kansas City Royals

AL West
1929 Philadelphia Athletics
2002 Anaheim Angels
1999 Texas Rangers
2001 Seattle Mariners

NL East
1995 Atlanta Braves
2008 Philadelphia Phillies
1986 New York Mets
1981 Montreal Expos
1997 Florida Marlins

NL Central
1935 Chicago Cubs
1925 Pittsburgh Pirates
1975 Cincinnati Reds
1942 St. Louis Cardinals
2005 Houston Astros
1982 Milwaukee Brewers

NL West
1955 Brooklyn Dodgers
1954 New York Giants
1998 San Diego Padres
2007 Colorado Rockies
2001 Arizona Diamondbacks

If anyone would like to help, I need suggestions for batting stances.

I have entered all ratings(thanks Bahnzo ),lineups and pitching rotations.
I will be working on pitch types for all pitchers in the next few days, player numbers and will also be making a few adjustments to some players whose ratings are too high(eg Seth Smith-Colorado)
I'm not sure if I will be changing faces yet. Might do some at the end. If anyone wants to help do this - let me know.

I'm hoping to have this finally completed by the weekend- its been a very long process.

I have included a link if you want to see the file so far.
I'll put it in the vault also if anyone asks for it.

Update: Playable set in the vault "CLASSIC BETA"
no faces done yet
I'll post the file here too

I didn't think Bahnzo's roster tool would give ratings for classic rosters? Let me know if I'm wrong.

Re: Classic Roster almost done- Suggestions wanted

Bahnzo's Roster Tool works back to 1954. To get the earlier teams I created a spreadsheet that used his ratings (example: a 345+ batting average = a 99 contact rating, 8.3 strikeouts/9 IP = 82 rating ). I then got 3 year weighted averages for each player to get their batting average, innings pitched per game etc and calculated ratings from there.
This works for the main ratings (contact, power, vision, discipline and all the pitching ratings)
The only problem is ratings like arm accuracy..no stats.
So for this problem I created another spreadsheet to get a range of ratings for each position. Then used a random number program to pick between that range.
I will adjust these ratings if anyone suggests that a player should have a higher or lower rating.

Good deal. Thanks for the explanation.

Re: Classic Roster almost done- Suggestions wanted

I'm still interested!

This is type of roster I would rather play than the current season.

How's it coming? Are you editing faces at all?

Re: Classic Roster almost done- Suggestions wanted

I'm working on the player numbers and making a few adjustments tonight.
I ran into a problem with the pitch types
Bought the Neyer/James guide to pitchers ebook, when i downloaded i got about 25% of it. They are trying to fix it now...hope it doesnt take too long.
As for the faces, I may do some at the end of this all....tried one and it wasn't easy. If anyone has any face making skills and would like to help send me a message.
Want to get this done so I can finally play this game. Looking forward to playing teams like the 1924 Senators. No power but everyone hits for average. Should be a different kinda game.

Any ideas for stances???
